Kingdom Projects Trivia Night Fundraiser Supports Callaway County Sheltered Workshop
Published
Saturday, October 16, 2004
Fulton, MO – Kingdom Projects is holding its 8th Annual Trivia Night on October 16th 2004 at 6:30 pm. at its facilities, located at 2611 North Bluff Street, Fulton, MO. Kingdom Projects, a sheltered workshop, holds the fundraiser each year to continue its operations in Callaway County.
"Teams of 8 compete in the fun, challenging their knowledge. There will be plenty to eat and drink, and the chance to win prizes," says Cheryl Wendring, Fundraising Coordinator for Kingdom Projects. "We have fun, eat well, and do it all for the benefit of Kingdom Projects."
Tables for the event cost $150 for a team of eight, but this year, special "VIP tables" are available. The VIP tables are $200 for a team of eight, and include china, linen, a special dessert, a private waiter, and more.
"We've had several teams that come back year after year," says Steve Mallinckrodt, assistant manager of Kingdom Projects. "They've asked for the extras, and the VIP tables offer that for not much more money. It's an exciting addition that we are sure will be a popular option in the future."
The Trivia Night is one of Kingdom Projects two fundraisers held each year. The money raised supports Kingdom Projects operations, helping to improve the facilities, machinery, and employee services.
"The fundraisers really help to improve the quality of life for Kingdom Project's disabled workforce," says Lon A. Little, Manager of Kingdom Projects. "Last year’s proceeds contributed to a hot lunch program and special equipment that is used in our workshop."
Individuals or teams interested in participating in the Trivia Night can contact Cheryl Wendring Fundraising Coordinator at (573) 642-7333 x 201 for registration information.
Kingdom Projects, Inc. was founded in 1976 to provide opportunities for disabled individuals who desire the independence and self-reliance that employment provides.
